El Rescate del Von Krohn
Produced by: Tonal Entertainment Group

Synopsis
Karl Klein travels from Germany to Colombia to meet his brother Wilhelm and show him the logbook of their grandfather, engineer Heinrich Klein, found in an old trunk. It recounts little-known events of the 1934 mission to rescue SCADTA's Von Krohn aircraft.
1. Heinrich Klein: The Grandfather
On March 10, 1934, the Von Krohn biplane, flying the Quibdó–Cartago route with five people on board, goes down in the jungle between the Chocó and Valle del Cauca. Among the passengers is Newton Marshall, head of the Chocó Pacific Mining Company. From Bogotá, Klein follows the search under pressure from families and the government.
2. Green Hell
The brothers reach the Chocó and travel through Quibdó, Istmina and Andagoya. In April 1934, a group of gold prospectors stumbles upon Marshall, close to death, and carries him to the town of Bolívar. Klein is tasked with recovering what remained on the aircraft: mail, remittances, gold and platinum.
3. Another Pioneering Task
The brothers arrive in Bolívar, Valle del Cauca, and follow the logbook on the ground. In 1934, after many hardships, Klein's expedition reached the wreck of the Von Krohn and returned with a cargo worth some 33,000 pesos of the time.
