Alcaraván en la Niebla
Directed by: Javier Pinzón · Produced by: Tonal Entertainment Group

Synopsis
Not long ago, it was unthinkable to see a llanero thick-knee in the mists of the Andean peaks. Today, because of climate change, that landscape is its new habitat. Three 24-minute episodes on the altitudinal migration of species and the people working to soften its impact.
1. Falling Like a River
A journey in counterpoint: glaciologist Paul Sánchez climbs the El Cocuy snowfield to show how fast the ice is melting, while marine biologist Jürgen Guerrero travels the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta to reveal the effects of climate change on Colombia's Caribbean.
2. The Will of the Earth
Two private nature reserves: in Cundinamarca, Germán Galindo turned land degraded by cattle ranching into a living classroom on the regenerative power of the earth; in Casanare, agronomist Hernando Franco restored a moriche palm wetland devastated by mining and extensive ranching.
3. Swamp Daisies
The recovery of Bogotá's wetlands, which began in the early 1990s at the initiative of the communities around La Conejera and Córdoba and eventually became public policy protecting all seventeen of the city's wetlands.
