Cuando los Hombres Quedan Solos
Directed by: Fernando Martínez, Viviana Saavedra del Castillo · Produced by: Producen Bolivia

Synopsis
Carlos, Nena's grandfather, served as a paramilitary under one of Bolivia's harshest dictatorships, that of García Meza, in 1980. Today he lives with his two sons: Armando, a police officer, and Carlos, a security guard and father of Nena (8) and Germán (5). Three men raising the children until their mother comes back — a migrant who has done well and who, three years later, is ready to face anything to take her children with her.
Her return brings ruptures and imbalance, and unleashes the utter desolation of men who cannot express what they feel.
